About our live edge bench: This elm bench is built from naturally fallen Hudson Valley trees. The outside surface is sculpturally smooth and the inside is sealed but unfinished. Both have been coated with epoxy for strength, and the top has been sanded as smooth as a baby's cheek. Natural cracks are filled with black resin. This gorgeous bench is both functional furniture and a work of art.
